Après Club for Ages 3-6 years
Join our bilingual afterschool club which blends movement, art and project-based explorations into science and practical life for children aged 3-6 years. Aimed at ensuring their afterschool hours present opportunities for engagement, expansion and exploration, this club is facilitated by Anouk McCaffrey.
A la Carte Elementary Afterschool Programme
6-9 years
Our afterschool programmes are available to students from Orchard and local public schools. We offer a complimentary pickup at OOOPS.
Monday Dance with Jade Jade is an international Latin dancer who has represented Turkey in several competitions. Currently, she works as an assistant in our casa environment. She is excited to guide elementary-aged students in explorations into the connections between music and movement…with a Latin flair!
Tuesday Science Club with Roger Roger, our elementary guide, guides students through fun experiments in physics, chemistry and biology. Students will have a chance to learn about fundamental concepts through cleverly-designed demonstrations of basic science principles. Along the way, they will learn about various contributions to science and the stories behind discoveries.
Wednesday Knitwits with Melody Join our Head Teacher and lifelong knitwit Melody for an afterschool Knitting Bee of epic proportions! You will learn to knit, purl, cast on and off to make a project of your own: squares for a quilt, a scarf, a mat for a cat (or dog!) to take home at the end of the year.
Thursday Club Français with Maude Maude uses games, stories and project work to open pathways into conversational French for students with a range of experience with the language.
Friday Game Day Students will wind down their week engaging in the social and strategy elements provided by an array board and role-playing games.
