Preschool Montessori Summer Camp

Camp Wildling is a five-week Montessori summer camp rooted in nature, movement, and hands-on discovery. Designed especially for children ages 3–6, the camp blends outdoor exploration with calm, purposeful indoor work – following a gentle daily rhythm that supports curiosity, independence, and joy.

Each week stands on its own, while also layering beautifully for families who choose multiple weeks.

A Day at Camp Wildling

Each day begins outdoors, where cooler mornings invite children to explore the orchard and playground through guided discovery and free movement. Children gather natural materials, observe their surroundings, and engage their bodies through obstacle courses, yoga, and imaginative play.

As the day warms, children transition indoors to our air-conditioned Casa. Here, discoveries from the morning become the foundation for focused lab work, storytelling, art, and reflection – allowing children to deepen understanding through calm, hands-on learning.

This balance of movement and concentration reflects the Montessori principle of working in rhythm with the child.

The Camp Rhythm

Morning: Field Work (Outdoors)

  • Nature walks and observation
  • Collecting samples, artifacts, and clues
  • Applying classroom concepts in real environments
  • Movement: obstacle courses, yoga, dance, and free play

Afternoon: Lab Work (Indoors)

  • Identifying, classifying, and documenting discoveries
  • Montessori materials and hands-on science
  • Nature-based stories (fiction and nonfiction)
  • Art using natural materials and processes

Camp Fees

Registration is considered complete when fees are paid by e-transfer to payments@theorchardmontessori.com. Payments are due by April 30, 2026. Please note that summer camp programmes are non-refundable.

Camp hours: 8:30am-5:30pm

Children must bring a packed lunch and snacks that are free of peanuts - nuts.

We respect and take seriously your child’s privacy and safety. We will not share their records or discuss their progress with any third party. We will do our utmost to keep your child safe in school; however, sometimes accidents do happen. In the event of a medical emergency in which we cannot reach you, we will take any immediate emergency steps we feel are in your best interest, and we may choose to share this form with the attending medical staff while we attempt to reach you.
We request your permission to use photographs of your child, singly or in groups, in printed and website materials to promote the school.
