Forest Fridays

Fridays we venture into the wilds of High Park. On our trips we have studied mutualistic relationships between acorns and blue jays as well as bees and flowers. In our down time, we enjoy hiking through the woods, playing nature games and eating our lunch in the open air. One day the children held an elaborate burial ceremony for a cicada which included the building of a tomb. We will be in the park alternate Fridays through November and look forward to seeing how High Park changes through the seasons.
