Snow Day!

December 15, 2014

snowmanThe children used their recess time to build a snow person and several super massive snowballs in the yard at lunch time today. From their vantage point in the casas, they are constantly watching the world outside change through the season. The apple trees in the back for which the school is named are a favourite throughout the year. This week, we had a redtailed hawk sitting on a tree that lost a large branch during a windstorm a few weeks ago. We have also watched the trees lose their leaves this autumn to reveal birds’ nests in the branches. We are looking forward to the sled hill getting into full rotation in January.
