Welcome Back

It’s been so lovely to hear the summer stories and see how much everyone has grown!
There is an Elementary Open House from 5-6pm this Wednesday, September 13th for parents to see the new space and ask any questions they may have about the year ahead. Please note casa parents are invited to a Welcome to New Families evening immediately following from 6-7pm. This is a parent only event. We will have a panel of teachers and veteran parents on hand to answer your questions about your family’s transition into Montessori.
We are still rolling in new casa students but everyone will be settled by the end of this week. Elementary homework files went home today with spelling lists, novel study and music homework. Next week, we will add poetry recitation. Please be reminded that folders go home on Tuesdays and have to be returned to school (with ukuleles) on Monday.
The apples in The Orchard are ripe for the picking so get them before the wasps do but please be gentle with the trees while you do it.
